Yesterday, we had a wonderful day in Class 1! We started the day by buying our tickets ready for our steam train ride to Blackpool (in 1900!). We got on our train, had our tickets stamped and set off on our journey! Eventually we reached Blackpool. When we got there we watched a Punch and Judy show, made our own Punch and Judy characters and told our own stories! We then listened to some seaside music and worked together to make some boats! This afternoon we tested our boats, had a sandcastle building competition and played some seaside games! Finally we ended our day by visiting the ice cream stand! We learned all about the types of things people did on holiday in the past and compared it to what people do now!
